Sister Breda Christopher, PBVM is retired. She volunteers her time to feed the homeless at Mary's Kitchen, is a Hospital Eucharistic Minister, in Prison Ministry, and a Parish Lector. As Jesus said, "The poor you will always have with you." There will always be persons who need to be fed; those in prison, and the sick in need of spiritual solace.

Sister Marilyn Omieczynski, PBVM is in Youth Retreat Ministry. Sister Marilyn is also a Parish Lector, Eucharistic Minister, Teacher of Tai Chi, Reiki Master Teacher, Massage Therapist, Publisher of the Province Newsletter, and Province Webmaster.

At St. Joseph Salesian Youth Renewal Center, Rosemead California where Sister Marilyn is Assistant Director, they see between 10,000-15,000 students every year ranging in age from Kindergarten to young adult. There is a full cross section of the diverse population of the Los Angeles Basin with the majority Latinos and Asians among those making retreats. The Retreat Center has special rates for those schools located in the inner city.
